Project Description
The position to be filled was Head of Account Management — a newly created role within the company. The requirement was to find an experienced candidate from the same industry and customer environment in which Amcon operates. Ideally, someone who had already worked as a project manager and brought broad experience in customer relations and sales.
How we successfully identified the right candidate in a short timeframe.
We had first connected with a suitable candidate a year earlier for a Senior Project Manager role. At the time, however, the fit wasn’t quite right due to various factors. This newly created position gave us the opportunity to re-engage with the candidate — and it turned out to be the perfect match. The role offered exactly the kind of challenge and opportunity the candidate had been looking for from the start.
An interview was quickly arranged, and just one week later, the employment contract was signed.
After conducting an in-depth interview with the candidate, we informed Amcon about the potential fit. The candidate was invited to the company’s headquarters for an interview, which we arranged promptly. The meeting went exceptionally well, and both sides quickly reached an agreement. Just one week later, the finalized employment contract was signed by both parties.
